Had a little visitor the other day & took the opportunity to take
a few snaps. Also had a bit of an unwelcome visitor this morning when
I walked into the office...a massive Pigeon was sat on top of my laptop,
he scared the be-jesus out of me & me him as he started flapping

around the studio. With the weather being so hot the window was
quite wide open & he'd flown in & luckily found his way out as soon
as I startled him. Didn't fancy my chances trying to catch him.

I move to my new house & bigger studio next weekend,
so goodbye to my little Harrogate studio where things
all started & hello Sheffield & a view over the Botanical
Gardens & maybe a few more butterflies!

Lovely to have a day out of the studio yesterday looking for new inspiration at Newark Antiques Fair (http://www.iacf.co.uk/newark). Had the added bonus of my twin brother Tim & his girlfriend Rosy coming along to look for some bits for their new flat. Makes shopping for your home so much more fun, when there's haggling & a bit of personality thrown into the mix. There were some beautiful vintage french fabrics & great selection of my faves, Victorian Scrapbooks. Got some goodies for next season that I'm excited about playing around with so watch this space!

I had a great afternoon in the Yorkshire sunshine at 'Ripley Decorative Home & Salvage Show' last weekend. Bigger & better than last year, lots of great industrial pieces that had been renovated into more practical furniture (www.theoldyard.co.uk had some great pieces...just need a lovely big studio space to put them in!)
