FAQ's

HOW TO ORDER:

  • Place your chosen item in the ‘shopping cart’ & proceed to checkout. You will be required to log-in as a guest if this is your first time.
  • Follow the prompts & fill in & select your preferred payment method & place your order.
  • You will receive an email confirmation from us with all details of your order for review. Please check all is correct & let us know if there are any problems.
  • Orders will be dispatched within 2 working days & arrive with you within 5 working days if not sooner. 

WHAT IF AN ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK?
If an item is marked as out of stock & you would like to be informed when it comes back into stock, please drop us an email. Some items on the site are vintage pieces that cannot be identically replaced, however drop us an email & we will happily source something similar for you.

CAN I CANCEL AN ORDER?
Orders are dispatched within 48 hours of ordering online. If you can email us ahead of this we can check if your order has already been shipped & organize a cancellation & refund where possible.
If the order has already been shipped then you may cancel the contract at any point within 14 days following receipt by you of the order. To validly cancel the order you should email us at emily@emilyhumphrey.co.uk. clearly specifying that you wish to cancel your order.
In the event that you cancel your order you will bear the full cost of returning the product to us.  Provided that the product is returned and there is no damage to the product and it is in the same condition as you received it then a full refund will be made (including any initial delivery cost) within 14 days from the date of valid cancelation.

DELIVERY
All products are delivered by trackable courier on standard delivery to arrive within 3-5 days. If you need your item to arrive quicker than this, please include a message on your order/email us at emily@emilyhumphrey.co.uk & we will endeavour to get your purchase to you asap. Next day delivery would be by special request & will incur an additional charge.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE UK 
At the moment the site only deals with UK shipping, however if you are based internationally please contact us directly & we can give you a special quote for delivery based on your order & process it directly. For bulky cushions I can organise a special transaction upon request to remove the cushion pad from the order at a reduced cost so that just the cover can be posted, making deliveries overseas more affordable. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

DO I NEED TO BE HOME TO RECEIVE MY ITEM
All items are sent via courier to the address given. Where possible please give an address where you are assured someone can receive & sign for the goods, alternatively if you have any special delivery information that could be passed on to the courier (e.g. please leave with neighbour, in garage etc) please make us aware so we can pass this on.

MY ORDER IS A GIFT
If your order is intended as a gift & is being shipped directly to the receiver, please make us aware upon placing your order so that the price can be removed & extra special attention paid to the wrapping!

RETURNS
Our policy lasts for 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Gift cards
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, within 15 days from date of receipt of goods.

DAMAGED/DEFECTIVE GOODS
Please inform us by email at: emily@emilyhumphrey.co.uk within 48hours of receipt of your goods along with proof of purchase. In most cases we will be able to send a replacement out to you asap, if the same item is unavailable a full refund or exchange will be offered.

SALE ITEMS
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at emily@emilyhumphrey.co.uk and send your item to: 15 Thompson Road, Botanical Gardens, Sheffield, UK, S11 8RA. We suggest using a trackable method of delivery as we will not be responsible for any items not returned within the prescribed period.

SHIPPING
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Emily Humphrey Design, 2 Kenwood Bank, Nether Edge, Sheffield, UK, S7 1NU.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund upon production of proof and cost of postage. We suggest using a trackable carrier. We also recommend insuring your package for high-value items.
